XBox 360…Can this be real? December 8, 2006

Posted by Fast Follower in Uncategorized.

If this story is true (and I have no reason to believe it’s not given Seth’s stature), maybe I’m way behind the gaming curve – particularly with the Xbox 360.

TI – Your son is the gaming guru in your family.  Does he think that you and I are just not with it?

Read carefully the last few lines…. he’s joking and made it all up! Part of choosing a gaming system is investigating the game inventory and staying on top of what is being worked on. For some reason my son never went for the Xbox (or never asked for one) mainly because the types of games that he likes to play were not available.

Well after debate after debate, I must admit, I went out today and dropped a bundle on the XBOX 360 for my son. Mom, undoubtedly was very upset with me, but I am an childhood gamer myself, and I turned out alright, didn’t I? I truly understand the joy of getting the best and leading edge stuff. The only difference, is that this is way more expensive than my first pong system, my coleco football handheld game, my mattel handheld football game, my nintendo original, etc. After reading all of the comments and doing a little research, I think this was the best move. Granted, I was really high on the Wii, but we just couldn’t get our hands on one. Let me hear from some of you on the full capabilities of the XBOX 360.

BTW, it looks like I will get accessorized to death by this thing. I am really going to have to be careful. I am already $450 in the hole!

Have a Happy Holiday Season, PTIers!

Welcome to the “$450 in the hole” club. I picked up the 360 for my son as well for Xmas. I have to admit….I kind of like beating him in “Fight Night.”
