Bluetooth Headset – Best Kept Secret February 7, 2007
Posted by Fast Follower in Uncategorized.trackback
I just purchased the Cardo Scala 700 bluetooth headset after a recommendation from a work colleague. This has to be the best kept secret in bluetooth headset land. For $40 on Amazon, it has a comfortable fit; easily bluetooth “connect-able” to my PPC 6700; very loud volume, built-in windproof, a pouch that attaches to my belt to carry it (so I don’t lose the darned thing like I have with others in the past); USB charge-able; 120v charge-able; an audible finder like a cordless phone.
Well, I might have to retract this “best kept secret” title. Today, the earloop on the darned thing broke in half. It’s a bad design. Now let’s see how Cardo responds. I’ll let the PTIers know.
Well, here you go again. You just don’t listen. I told you that the solution was the Motorola H300. Very simple, no frills, but it works. The best thing that I like about it is that you don’t have to charge it. It takes a single AAA battery and you are off. I replace the battery about once every two months, and that’s it. Actually, during the Christmas Season, Best Buy was selling these things for $15! You can’t beat this deal! Especially, if you lose them a lot. But noooooooo, you had to look for one that had frills. That’s what you get. Tell your buddy to listen to me and stop Following a Follower!

Now let’s see if/when I actually get the new earloop
Is anyone else having problems with the 700 dropping and reconnecting? I get this constantly on my Blackberry 7130. It does not happen with my cardo 500
I don’t have this problem. I just switched to a BlackBerry model 8700c. The 700 seems to be working well it after one day of using it.
By the way…I did get the new earloop. So I’m happy again
I recently replaced the Cardo Scala 700 with the sleaker, cooler-looking Cardo S-800. I’ve been using it for 2 months now. And it’s outstanding.
